About Us
Welcome to the Illinois Homeschool Resource Center, a Christian homeschool resource center that equips families in the central Illinois area with supplies, community, and opportunities. Our mission is to provide a supportive and enriching environment for homeschooling families, offering a wide range of resources and programs to enhance the homeschooling experience.
Coming in 2025
We are excited to announce our plans to open the Homeschool Resource Center in August of 2025! Currently, we are in the vision-casting phase, where we are actively gathering resources and ideas to a space that meets the diverse needs of homeschooling. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment that fosters learning, creativity, and community engagement. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this journey together!
The Vision
Modeled after Heidi St. John's Homeschool Resource Center in Washington state, we plan to create a space that's open five days a week solely dedicated to supporting homeschool families. The opportunities are endless, but here are just some of the ideas we hope to implement:
